What people are saying about Karin Nemri's Art & Soul Works

"When I first opened the painting on Christmas morning and saw my  dad's face, it was almost like I felt him with me.  It was so lifelike and perfect.  Karin took the time and asked for multiple pictures so that she could truly get a good feel for what she thought was the best picture. To me that was the best part...not knowing what picture she would choose to capture. In the end, her choice was amazing and all the colors came to life.  It is something I will cherish  forever!"  A.G.

"My husband commissioned a piece from Karin as a memorial painting of my parents. It is absolutely beautiful! Karin's unique style and attention to detail have given me a painting that I will always treasure. She truly captured the essence and characteristics of  my parents' personalities and then recreated that on the canvas. I am forever grateful for her talent."       R.S.

"I have been a long time fan of artist Karin Nemri. Her portraits are so life-like. She painted a watercolor of my son holding his newborn. So very impressive! She is my all time favorite!"        M.O.

"Karin's bold art painting of my husband is awesome!  She captured his fun-loving spirit and adventurous personality by using a video clip as reference. Truly amazing!"     S.P.

My jaw is still on the floor. Once again thank you so much Karin Nemri for recreating this photo of Pa and I. ❤️I found this photo after he had passed, and every time I look at it I can feel myself hugging him. It's been almost a year since I lost him and I will never be able to say in words how much he meant to me, and how wonderful he was/is. He's with me in every silly joke, and heartfelt hug. ❤️ Thank you again for your unbelievable work❤️  T.H.

About the Artist

Karin Nemri, a self-taught portrait artist, is best known for her usage of vibrant colors and capturing the heart essence of her subjects. For her early portrait works, her medium of choice was liquid watercolors that were used in a style that was very defined and detailed. Over the years, as her journey unfolded, Karin was called to switch over to acrylics and aim for a more free and looser style. As a connoisseur of color, she retained the vibrance and boldness in her pallets. This website is the result of  her journey still in progress.  She resides in Bloomfield Connecticut, is the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of six grandchildren.
